Driving instructor courses online
A lot of secondary schools and universities have recently introduced online courses into their curriculum. Nowadays it is really inevitable. People want to work and study at the same time, and what is even more important, they often choose schools far away from their hometowns. It would be a waste of time to travel, let"s say, two or three hours every day, or to rent a room somewhere far away from home and pay for it. But I suppose online courses are not always a good idea, especially when the school has to see and control their students" progress. Let"s think of driving instructor courses or courses for future nurses. Even becoming a hairdresser is something you can"t do online! Therefore, I sometimes think studying online is not real studying, at least from my point of view. If you are not in constant touch with your teacher, and you don"t feel a bit pressurised and assessed (and it does play a role, contrary to common beliefs), it is much more difficult to stay motivated. And who can tell if you are really cut out to be a nurse if you have never proved that? Driving instructor courses also require a lot of practical training, and I somehow cannot imagine doing it an online simulator. Therefore, I don"t believe that studying online will never take the place of regular classes.
